At Puppy School, we train everyone to the same standard with a careful and comprehensive programme of tuition in both animal training and behaviour. We coach, mentor and monitor to ensure high standards are achieved and maintained.
A passion for reward based methods
In the Puppy School family, we all share a similar ethos - all are dedicated to making puppy's and their owners lives better through the distribution of reward-based training methods.
Many of our Puppy School tutors are dog training professionals when they join us, with thriving careers as dog walkers, groomers, vet nurses or behaviourists. Others however come to us from doing a totally unrelated day job – we have teachers, accountants, personal assistants and managing directors running classes under the Puppy School franchise. This gives us an unparalled diverse resource of knowledge that we share through forums, meetings and continued professional development courses.
Animal Behaviour Knowledge
As well as up-to-date knowledge of the science of animal training, it is also important for our tutors to be well trained in all aspects of puppy behaviour. This allows them to help owners to raise a happy and well adjusted puppy. To this end, full behaviour training is provided to our Puppy School tutors by experienced in-house Clinical Animal Behaviourists.
