Becky Howe
I am passionate about supporting dogs and their guardians. Puppy School gives me the opportunity to support guardians and their new puppies from an early age to help them get off to the best start. I have worked with dogs professionally since 2008 and joined Puppy School in 2016 after completing the extensive training course. I am also on the ABTC register as a Registered Animal Training Instructor.
As well as being part of Puppy School, I am also proud to be an ACE Associate Tutor. My belief is that it is important to look at the dogs emotional, physical and mental well-being, ensuring their needs are met, and so ACE fits in well with our puppies education as well as supporting dogs through their life stages. With this in mind I treat each puppy and their guardians as individuals so offer the support they need. Class sizes are kept to a maximum of 5 puppies with this in mind, ensuring everyone gets the support they need.
I believe it is important to keep up to date with knowledge and skills and so regularly attend workshops and conferences as well as connecting with other dog professionals.
Classes are kept to a maximum of 5 puppies per course. This is with the aim of providing puppies with a safe and relaxed learning environment and ensuring everyone gets the support they need throughout classes. We understand that all puppies, and their guardians, will have different needs and so individual support is given as throughout the sessions as required.
We offer a range of classes from Puppy School to follow on courses and classes.
Class are held in Sampford Peverell Village Hall, Tiverton on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm as well as Sundays at 3.40pm and 4.50pm.
