Puppy School Oxford
I have always wanted to help people and their pets from a very young age. So, as soon as I was old enough, I started training to be a Registered Veterinary Nurse. I gained a Science Degree in Veterinary Nursing in 2003 and since then have been a Registered Veterinary Nurse still currently working in practice in Swindon. I always want to learn more about how I can help pets and their owners so decided to embark on studying for a Masters Degree in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling. In 2012, I achieved a Masters Degree in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling with Merit at Southampton University and since then I have been conducting cat and dog behavioural consultations. As I love working with animals and their owners to achieve a well-balanced harmony and relationship between them, I decided to apply to Puppy School. Puppy School is such a great support network full of amazing, talented, and very knowledgeable professionals who are here to help train puppies to set them up for success in life. Puppy School ensures that all tutors are trained to the highest standards and constantly monitors that their tutors keep up to date with developing training techniques. I was, therefore, delighted to be accepted and finished my training in 2023 and started running classes that same year. This then lead to me setting up Puppy School Oxford.
I am very proud to be part of the Puppy School family having trained hard to get to this point of being a full tutor for the Oxford area. I look forward to meeting all the puppies and their owners, teaching and equipping them with the tools they need to set their puppies up for life.
Our Classes are run at two different locations within Oxford - St. Nicholas Church Hall, Old Marston and New Marston Pastoral Centre, New Marston.
We take Puppies from the age of 12 weeks to 20 weeks and our classes are kept small (up to 7 puppies per class) to ensure all puppies are coached well.
