Hayley Cornick
My passion for puppy training comes from my deep desire to improve the lives of as many dogs as I can. I believe that prevention is better than cure so my goal is to teach puppy owners how to give their pups the best start in life and how to avoid future behaviour issues.
I started my journey with Puppy School whilst studying my degree in animal behaviour. I volunteered at my local puppy school classes, then qualified as a Puppy School tutor in 2016 and I have been running classes weekly ever since. My BSc (Hons) degree in animal behaviour has enhanced my understanding of dog behaviour and training techniques which helps me offer my puppy owners useful and up to date information throughout their training journey. I also hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Education as I also lecture in animal studies at Berkshire College of Agriculture.
I have owned a variety of dog breeds throughout my life but now you will see me walking in the woods with my handsome Rottweiler cross called Kobe who I co-parent with my partner Peter, who is currently training to become an animal training instructor too.
Kobe and I do many fun activities together (when we are not both at college training with the students) such as practising dog parkour, being a great scentwork team and trying our hand at Rally obedience. Kobe gets his well deserved rest time at home when I am running Puppy School classes so I can give my undivided attention to the puppies.
We provide Puppy School classes in Farnham that will give you all the basics you need to set your puppy up for success. We offer small group sizes (up to 6 puppies per course) to ensure we are able to give each puppy owner individual advice and attention throughout their course, including additional support outside of class via our designated Whats App group.
