Puppy School Bledlow
From a very early age, I knew I wanted to work with animals. This interest quickly became a passion for training and behaviour and has resulted in several qualifications including of course qualifying as a Puppy School tutor, plus an MSc in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling. I am a member of the Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians and a Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist via ABTC.
I have been running Puppy School classes since 2011 and offer classes for older dogs such as Dog Club, Reactive Dogs and agility training. I am also available for 121 training and behavioural consultations. Reward based training is absolutely the best way to train, science says so and so does experience. All my classes are done with high welfare, kindness and effectiveness as key attributes. The bulk of my work is now with dogs, but over the years I have also helped cats, small mammals and horses.
I live with my husband, kids and a variety of animals on a small farm near Princes Risborough. I currently have two dogs; a terrier mix named Silky and a Springer Spaniel x Rottweiler called Foden. They are mostly retired now, but still help with some stooge work, with dogs that aren’t keen on others and they still like a potter around the agility paddock.
I love being a part of Puppy School. Puppy classes are such a fantastic way of setting you
I run my Puppy School classes at Bledlow Village Hall on Saturday mornings. Classes for older dogs are held outdoors in Henton.
